Orders, delivery and customer service

Data: name, email, phone, addresses, order contents and amounts, payment status (never your card number), tracking, customer service messages.

Legal basis: performance of the contract (orders, delivery, invoicing, guarantees); legal obligation (accounting); legitimate interest (fraud prevention). Retention: for the duration of the relationship then 5 years as evidence; invoices and accounting records 10 years.

Account and loyalty

Data: name, email, encrypted password, phone, addresses, order and points history. If you add it, your loyalty card is sent to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet. Legal basis: contract. Retention: until the account is deleted or 3 years after your last activity.

Reminders and marketing emails

If you left your email and a cart remains unfinished, we may send you a single reminder. Customers may receive offers on products similar to those already purchased (legitimate interest). Newsletter and back-in-stock alerts: consent. You can object or unsubscribe at any time. Retention: until you unsubscribe, and at most 3 years after your last contact.

Contact and WhatsApp

Contact form messages are used to answer you and kept for 3 years after the last exchange. The WhatsApp module is optional: your message is sent to our number via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) or opens in your app, and is subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Audience measurement

Only if you accept, we record on our own servers, with no third-party tool, pages and products viewed, add-to-cart events and orders, linked to a pseudonymous identifier. Legal basis: consent. Retention: 13 months maximum.

Recipients

Authorised Latino Shop staff and our providers: Stripe (payment), Mondial Relay, La Poste (Colissimo), UPS and DHL (delivery), Resend (emails), Contabo GmbH, Germany (hosting), Meta/WhatsApp (if you use it), Google and Apple (loyalty card, if you add it). We never sell your data.

Some providers may process data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and instructions on your data after your death: write to latinoshopfrance@gmail.com. We reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
